Admission Policy:

  • FREE ADMISSION for Trade Visitors & Industry Professionals.
  • To register for a visitor badge, you can do so online before show days, or on site at the Bangladesh – China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC) on show days ( 10 – 12 December 2009) with your business card.
  • Visitor badges are non-transferable due to security reasons. You may be asked by security personnel to present proof of identification before entry into the exhibition.
  • Minors aged 16 years and below will not be allowed entry into exhibition halls.

The Show Management reserves the right to refuse admission to visitors who are not appropriately dressed or do not fulfill admission requirements.

The Sewing Machine Traders Association (Singapore) was founded in 1983 to provide a platform for exchange of information and views among garment equipment traders in Singapore, as well as to enhance their good relations.

The SMTAS membership size has grown tremendously over the years. From 21 traders in the Association in 1983, the association now has more than 50 members whose profiles include well-established international renowned manufacturers, traders of sewing machines and garment-related equipment and accessories.

About the AAMA-TEX Series of Exhibitions

Organised by the Sewing Machine Traders Association (Singapore), AAMA-TEX has, over the years, endeavoured to provide a robust market place for textile and apparel machinery manufacturers and international buyers. Since its modest beginnings in 1989, where it took up 6,500 square metres, AAMA-TEX has grown to be the largest event of its kind in South and Southeast Asia, taking up 15,000 square metres in 2007. The show’s 2007 showcase also saw the participation of a record 266 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions attracting over 3,200 visitors.

AAMA-TEX Bangladesh 2009 looks set to reach new landmarks in terms of exhibitor participation as well as visitorship.
